When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Please bear this in mind and only call the surgery after sufficient time has elapsed.
Please be assured that if your blood test reveals any abnormality, the Practice will contact you by letter or telephone.
If your blood test is normal, the Practice will not contact you.
You may, however, telephone our new BLOOD RESULTS LINE 7-10 days after your bloods have been taken: Monday - Thursday 2.00 - 3.30pm on 01625 264024.
Please note that your call will be handled by non-clinical staff who can only report on the results available to them at the time of your call as different results may be received at different times. Therefore, it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.
Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
