Physiotherapy - Self Referral
There is a triage and clinical assessment service which you can now refer yourself to without seeing a GP first. This service is carried out by InHealth Ltd who will assess your needs and may send you for community physiotherapy, this is offered by 11 providers for you to choose from and you can be seen locally.

Childhood Immunisation Clinics - Change of Day

Kick Start Specialist Stop Smoking Service is now provided by Well Pharmacy who have branches located on Park Lane and Sunderland Street in Macclesfield.
NHS Prescription Charges
From 1st April 2017 the new charge for NHS prescritions will be £8.60 per item.
Prepayment certificates are £104.00 for 12months, and £29.10 for 3 months, you can pick up a prescription prepayment form in the Surgery, or from Pharmacies.
NHS 111 - When its less urgent than 999
From 1st October 2015 the NHS has aimed to make it easier for people to access healthcare services when they need medical help fast but it is not a life threatening situation.
When the practice is closed NHS 111 will cover all requests for medical advice and home visits. If you need medical help fast, but it is not a life threatening situation please telephone 111.
Calls to NHS 111 are free from landlines and mobiles, and the service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to your healthcare needs when:
Medical Help is needed fast, but is not a 999 emergency
You are not sure who to call for medical help or do not have a GP
You think you need to go to A & E or another NHS urgent care service or
You require health information or reassurance about what to do next
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

INFORMATION ON SEXUAL HEALTH
Blood Results Line
Please be assured that if your blood test reveals any abnormality, the Practice will contact you by letter or telephone.
If your blood test is normal, the Practice will not contact you.
You may, however, telephone our new Blood Results Line 7-10 days after your bloods have been taken: Monday - Thursday 2.00 - 3.30 pm on 01625 264024.
Please note that your call will be handled by non-clinical staff who can only report on the results available to them at the time of your call as different results may be received at different times.
Additional Telephone Consultation Appointments
A small number of Telephone Consultations are now available each morning, along with the ones already offered in the afternoon
We would like to welcome our new Registrar Dr Morwenna James who will join the Practice on the 7th February 2018. Morwenna joins Ben Passey-Heaton and Dr Lydia Wilson who joined the Practice in 2017.
Please note that with effect from 1 January 2014 we no longer offer Wart Clinic appointments with our Nursing Team.
GP Dermatology Clinic appointments will remain available to our Patients, by referral from another Doctor within the Practice.
